Late one Saturday night last week I decided rather to tan all day long and drink alongside the pool, well maybe that whats I was hoping would happen on my Sunday, instead to get out and make something creative.
I gave a call to a good friend Ruby-Mae and asked if she'd like to help make a music video aiming to do it all in one day. Pretty much most of it all was filmed that day. I was all about trying to keep everything super simple and get the best result, so minimal equipment and locations to go with idea. It changed midway through the day rather than a staged scenes to further express her fun personality.
She's a young local girl here in Queenstown and has a lot of potential. This is here first recording and anything alike and she needs as much support as she can so it'd be great to share around.
Enough talking so have a look!
All was filmed on the Canon 5DII, 50mm f/1.2L, 70-200mm f/2.8L IS.
Locations were in and around Queenstown NZ and might I add it was still winter last week when we were filming.
Hopefully we some more of this up and comer.

Skyline's downhill biking tracks open for the first full season
From one mountain to another, ski to bike. The seasons are changing and so are our passes too. Skyline's downhill mountain bike season, the first full season has officially started. Now each morning we've got another mountain to choose which to go up.

Trying the Canon 8-15mm f/4L fisheye
Last I week I got a taste test on the new Canon 8-15mm fisheye f/4L. Some will say it’s a novelty, some depend on it, some froth on
it. I’ve gone through my pros and cons of the lens to see if it’s on my wish list.
